This amazing statue stands within the entrance rotunda of the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles California and it lit both from sunlight coming in through the main doors and through the stained glass at the apogee of the central dome. The employee stationed there to greet people was giving me weird looks. Perhaps it was because I was lying on the floor to get this shot, to which I said, “Come on, I can’t be the first person you’ve seen do this!”
